The clinic will offer a wide range of premium diagnostic and screening services, from bone density examinations to breast screening and MRIs. Clients can also take advantage of a personalised full body MOT that assesses all aspects of their health.

Services will be available to both individuals and businesses. The service is open to anyone who is seeking to use a premium service to proactively manage their own or their employees’ health and well-being.

The new clinic is expected to open in Portland Place in September 2019. It represents Mayo Clinic’s entry into the UK healthcare market and is the result of a new venture between Mayo Clinic in the US and Oxford University Clinic.

The standard protocol fee for individuals is £5,000 and there is an opportunity to add other services at additional cost. To find out more, please contact us and we can discuss a cost tailored to your specific needs.

If you are eligible through a business plan, please speak to your employer or get in touch with us directly about the options available to you.

We recognise that in healthcare one size doesn’t fit all. We bring an approach that’s highly personalised and tailored to people’s needs, based on Mayo Clinic’s proven philosophy that recognises and respects the individual. We can also offer access to an unrivalled network of global experts who are available for advice and consultation. Drawing on the world-class expertise of both Mayo Clinic and Oxford University, we believe this enables us to offer a unique, premium service that other providers can’t match.

Unlike some other private healthcare providers, the physicians at the new Clinic will be salaried, as they are at Mayo Clinic in the US, rather than being paid per consultation.

Our offer is very much complementary to NHS services. We anticipate working with colleagues in the NHS and other private providers over time as knowledge and awareness of the Clinic grows. Profits from the Clinic will be reinvested by the partners into medical research and education that ultimately improves patient care and supports the work of the NHS and Mayo Clinic worldwide.

The world-renowned US based Mayo Clinic and Oxford University Clinic represent two of the biggest names in healthcare and medical research. We have joined forces to bring together the best that both organisations have to offer, to advance healthcare and deliver better outcomes for patients.

The Clinic is the first formal expression of our partnership and is our key focus at this stage. We believe there is a good cultural fit between our two organisations, and we are excited about the opportunity to collaborate on a range of further initiatives in due course. Potential areas for collaboration include research and education projects, practice pilots to focus on leading improvements in quality, integration and outcomes delivered, and the exchange of resources to support research, practice and educational activities.
